Getting down to Business

The Sacramento Business Service Center (SBSC) is a foundation subsidiary of The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SHCC). The Sacramento Business Service Center was formed to expand/assist small business development with the SHCC membership and the general community.

The SBSC’s mission is to manage and promote programs and services for businesses in the greater Sacramento area by operating training and education programs for small and emerging businesses. The focus is on the need of women and minority-owned businesses to effectively compete for business contracts and participate in the new economy.

OBJECTIVES

Business Conduit

Provide a conduit for business arrangements between buyers and sellers of goods and services.

Access to Services & Products

Provide business and governmental agencies with access to services and products from small and emerging businesses.

Training & Education

Provide entrepreneurial training, education, and resources to small and emerging businesses to compete more effectively for contracts.

Information & Marketing Strategies

Facilitate the transfer of business information and technology-based marketing strategies to small business owners.
