Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA)
MBDA is the only Federal Agency created specifically to foster the establishment and growth of minority-owned businesses in the United States.
National Minority Supplier Development Council
Providing a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses is the primary objective of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, one of the country's leading business membership organizations. It was chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes.
WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES
In the United States women own 50 percent or more of 10.4 million business firms. These firms employ more than 12.8 million people and generate 1.9 trillion in annual sales.
